No doubt most have heard that many petrol stations are now having E10 petrol fuel which is 10% Ethanol. Most bikes we ride are compatible in that components used are ethanol safe as it can dissolve certain types of pure rubber and plastic and can corroded metal parts however, its worth noting that Ethanol absorbs water far more readily than pure petroleum and separation of fuel can occur in as little as 3 months.
Carburettor vehicles are far more likely to suffer and run erratic when on choke rather than injected vehicles which will simply force any fuel through however even they can suffer from long layups that could promote separation and water absorbing traits of E10 fuel so best to run fuel as low as possible and fill with a gallon of the premium fuel such as V power etc which has a lower ethanol content if you anticipate long periods of inactivity of a particular bike or car.

Government here have a sneaky plan and charge $76 for every 1000 klms for a diesel.
Fear not as I have an even sneakier plan I reach round the back of the speedo and pull out the cable a bit like unclipping a bra strap on a fat tart and that's like auto pilot for my nimble fingers 🖖
